“Mrs. Nichole Jefferson had showed many acts of kindness throughout my college years. She would not hesitate to lend out a hand at any time. She generously opened her home to me during the time of hardship without any expectations. She went over and beyond to accommodate and comfort me. Mrs. Nichole Jefferson willingness and eagerness to give makes her an exceptional human being. She is a role model to me and many others.”
- Sara Bibawy, PharmD
“While in school, I was away from home with no other family in the area. Initially, I had no friends in the area either, until I developed some friendships with classmates. This is where Mrs. Jefferson was key. I am not a particularly outgoing soul, but Mrs. Jefferson didn't care. She sought to involve me, and she truly cared about my well-being. On one holiday occasion, when I could not afford to travel home and see my family, Mrs. Jefferson opened her home to me and invited me to spend Easter with her. She actually inspired me to seek out a church family at school and become baptized and accept the Lord as my savior.
We developed a friendship, and I considered her a mentor. We talked about God and the Bible. I learned that she is family-oriented and also involved in her church and community. During one session, Mrs. Jefferson asked if I would consider traveling down to her community and assist her and other church and community members in serving meals to the community. I wanted to help, and agreed. I traveled down to her community, and got to meet her family and some of her friends.”
- Alyssa Carson, PharmD
“One of my advisors, Nichole Jefferson along with her husband had opened their homes and provided a place for me and my son. She even allowed for me to go to class on time as well as given me the ability to go to the library to study while she and her husband took my son to daycare. Ms. Jefferson made sure to provide me with all the information necessary in order to get the SDS scholarship. A scholarship for students who have been through unbearable obstacles. She worked diligently with financial aid to help process my financial a lot quicker for me to receive my refund check in order to get a place for me and my son. Furthermore, both Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson had invited me and my son to Thanksgiving dinner because she knew that I did not have any family in the states and did not want me to spend Thanksgiving alone. Homelessness does not have a face nor discriminates. Through perseverance and God sending the right people in my direction I was able to get out of my situation and had a real chance to focus on Pharmacy School”.
- Ashley Eustache
“Mrs. Jefferson was the right woman in the right place at the right time, doing what God has called her to do in the most authentic and purest form. During my matriculation of pharmacy school at Florida A & M University I experienced much adversity. Each encounter I faced Mrs. Jefferson was there. She doesn’t know it, the safest place I felt was in her office at the college. In here office my past experienced and current situations did not matter. In mentoring and praying with me, I grew. The book of Titus mentions how the older women should train the younger women. Mrs. Jefferson did so on a day to day basis. Her lifestyle demonstrated truth, virtue, and passion. I could trust her with my heart. She encouraged me through the many ups and downs. She counseled, mentored and help build me up to be a woman to stand tall during the mist of adversity. A true Proverbs 31 woman welcomed me at the doors of my biggest test of faith in 2013 and embraced me as I took my seat at graduation 2017. A divine connection she has been.”

A wonderful book, a must read for anyone needing the motivation to take their next step in life and the encouragement to believe in themselves.”
